President
Reed Pigman, Jr., founder and President of Texas Jet, Inc., grew up in a family deeply rooted in aviation. He earned his private pilot’s license at 17 and commercial license at 20 while attending the University of Oklahoma, where he later graduated with a degree in Business Finance. After managing American Flyers, his family’s flight school, he purchased Piper Southwest in 1978 and rebranded it as Texas Jet.
Under his leadership, the company has grown from two hangars to more than 540,000 square feet across 25 hangars (and about to break ground on #26!).
Beyond business, he is a committed philanthropist; through the Pigman Family Charitable Fund, he has supported the University of Oklahoma’s School of Aviation with a new training hangar to advance the next generation of aviators.
